That's a fair point. It's possible for this to be abused. "Lazy" seems like a stretch (since lazy people will tend to not get rewarded, since giving is voluntary).
But, you do have a point about Alts. What's the actual exploit here though? Let's say I don't have this ability, and I make an alt. how does that help me? Well, you can now lend yourself high units, even if you have no guild. And, you can create your own guild. And, if you're willing to put in the time, your primary can solo a raid to tier 2 (only using manual fighting) and all your alts can get all the blue packs and green packs they want.
But, since you don't have a real guild, you won't have time to do tier 3. So, blue oaks are your limit.
Now, imagine you can give packs away. Now you can do exactly the same thing. But now, every time you do honolulu tier 2, you get 3 packs for an alt instead of 2 (or 1 if your units are low level).
Is that the worst exploit, or can you break it more? Because, if that's the worst exploit, it's really not much better than the current ability to create alts. my guess is the kind of people who would use this to break acts would get all blues, determine that getting pinks would take actually talking with people (and chancing getting their alts caught), and then would quietly quit the game. To me, that seems like the ideal cheater - the one who doesn't really inconvenience anyone.
